Stuhrling 768.03 review. The Stuhrling Original Ascot is a very good value for money watch. It has a relatively clean and simple design with its minimalist dial with long white batons as hour markers that actually give it an easy to read finish. The watch uses a genuine leather strap that’s comfortable and easy to operate.

The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement that’s often desired in watches but isn’t often available under 200. At the 6 o’clock position is a small date display window that I really like the look of, it’s there, but isn’t too intruding on the overall design.

Extra features of this Stuhrling watch include a protective Krysterna crystal that’s on a par with mineral crystal in my opinion. As for water resistance it has a 50m rating, that’s not bad at all considering.

The has this clean dial design with a nice hint of rose gold that makes them stand out somewhat. There’s also a comfortable leather strap that fastens with a typical buckle clasp.

The watch uses a standard quartz movement that’s accurate and reliable, these are found on many of the Daniel Wellington range and are common for watches in this price range. Extra features of this watch include a mineral crystal glass and a water resistance rating of 30 meters.

Casio G-Shock AW-591MS-1AER review. Casio’s range of G-Shock are an obvious pick for this list due to their excellent durability and affordable pricing that offers great value for money. The watch is built to last with its sturdy casing design and tough nylon strap.

The watch runs with a Japanese quartz movement that’s known for reliability and accuracy. Extra features of this watch include a stop watch, multi time zone display, countdown timer, and alarm. It uses a mineral glass, again found on many G-Shock watches. In this price range it’s also pretty impressive to find a 200m water resistance rating like this watch has.

I love the dial design though, the hints of orange give the dial a stunning burst of colour. There’s a comfortable silicone strap on this watch that uses a buckle clasp.

The watch functions using a quartz movement that’s found in most watches in this price range. As for the glass, it’s a specially hardened mineral crystal. The water resistance rating of this timepiece stands at 30m.

Fossil FS4662 review. Fossil are another of one of my favourite brands when it comes to quality affordable watches. They’re an absolutely huge company that are one of the top selling brands in the country. On the dial we have 3 chronograph sub dials as well as a small date display hidden away between the 4 and 5 hour markers. I think the black and white dial design looks quite cool too. As for the strap, it’s made of stainless steel with a brushed effect and fastens with a push release style clasp.

Powering the watch is a accurate and reliable quartz movement. Extra features include a mineral crystal glass, and a 50m water resistance rating that’s perfectly acceptable for this style of watch.

If you’re looking for nice watches under 200 than a Fossil watch is well worth considering.

G-Shock GA-100-1A2ER review. Here we have another sturdy watch from G-Shock. Again, known for their durability and value for money this is another one of their best selling models. It has a military style design with a good use of awesome blue highlighting throughout.  Dual display watches are popular so it’s good to see a analogue/digital watch in our list today.

The watch is classed as oversized with a large face at 51mm. It uses a quartz movement for reliable accurate timekeeping. Protecting the watch is this thick resin surround that gives you that shock and drop resistance. Other features include a mineral crystal glass, and a 200m water resistance rating, again very impressive in this price range.

Citizen Nighthawk CA0295-58E review. This is the first watch in our list to feature the extremely popular Eco-Drive technology from Citizen. These Eco-Drive watches don’t require any batteries as they are fuelled by the power of light, any light, be it natural or artificial. The technology is so popular it’s now found in the majority of Citizen watches.

The all black watch design is demand at the moment, I think this model from Citizen has a good take on this style. They’ve used a matte blue colour for some of the detailing which keeps to the darker theme whilst managing to make the numbers legible.

The dial has a really clean design, in my opinion, it’s light and easy to read. There’s 3 chronograph sub dials that can also come in handy. There’s a comfortable leather strap that fastens with a standard buckle clasp as well.

The watch itself is powered by a quartz movement, I’m sure you’re well aware what they’re like by now. Other features of the watch include a mineral crystal glass, lume, and a 50m water resistance rating.

Bulova 96B247 review. This is our first model featured from Bulova which happen to be one of my favourite affordable watch brands. It’s made of a hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant stainless steel and features a nice chronograph display. Between the 4 and 5 o’clock batons is a small date display.

Bulova 98B203 review. Here we have another one of my favourite affordable Bulova watches. This is from their Marine Star collection that’s been pretty popular for the brand overall. The dial is clean and easy to read with a good use of lume of the hands and hour markers. There’s also a small date display at the 3 o’clock position.

Powering the watch is a standard quartz movement for reliability and general accuracy. Extra features include the lume, mineral glass, and a 100m water resistance rating.

Casio Edifice EFR-538D-1AVUEF review. Another popular series for Casio is their Edifice collection. These are serious sports watches that are full of useful features and are great value for money.

The watch is quite large with a 49mm casing diameter and a 13mm thickness. So it’s oversized but not overly chunky, which is great. It uses a quartz chronograph movement and includes a small date display. There’s a handy stopwatch, good use of luminous hands and numerals, a mineral glass, and a 100m water resistance rating.
